Software of the CREDITS platform by default is installed to the folder ”C:\Program Files\Credits\Node”; Desktop Wallet and contract-executor are also placed there.

One of the possible options of running the command prompt (CMD) in Windows 10 is performed via the "Search" button, then "CMD" is entered in the search bar and then in it launched in a regular mode or in the administrator mode


The following figure shows the “CMD” window and one of the options of how to go to the “C:\Program Files\Credits\Node” folder. The "cd" interpreter command is used.

Start commands (note that for each executable file, you must run the shell and enter one of the lines below):

client.exe (launch node)

java -jar wallet-desktop.jar (Desktop Wallet)

java -jar contract-executor.jar (launch contract-executor)

Benefits of running from the command line

The advantage of using the "CMD" command prompt is the visibility of the result of program execution. You can see the connection state and the work logs in the distributed network.
