Network Node

A node is an interactive multi-tasking server application that communicates with other network nodes via UDP packets.

It performs processing tasks, stores transactions, executes and confirms the terms of smart contracts, processes requests from third-party systems, and provides data upon request.

Each node on the Credits (CS) network has the same functionality, whether it's running on Windows or Linux.

The decentralized Credits (CS) nodes form a "collective" or "connected graph" on the principles of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), whereby they sustain the connectivity of the network and ensure the exchange of messages.
